INVOLVES WORKBOOK STUDY & ATTENDANCE AT A ONE DAY PRACTICAL SESSION.

Date: Monday 15th March 2010 (Practical Session) 

Time: 9am – 5pm

Cost: $160 per person

Venue: Oakgrove Community Centre, Narre Warren South

This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to provide first aid response, life support, management of casualty(s), the incident and other first aiders, until the arrival of medical or other assistance.

Completion of workbook learning must be completed prior to your attendance at the practical session.  Course participants should enrol a minimum of two weeks prior to the practical session in order to complete this process.  

HLTFA301B Apply First Aid (Refresher)

Date: Monday 15th March 2010

Time: 9am - 5pm

Cost: $135 per person

This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to provide first aid response, life support, management of casualty(s), the incident and other first aiders, until the arrival of medical or other assistance.

PRE-READING REQUIRED - Students are provided with a ‘Pre-Reading Booklet’ which contains recommended reading and Assessment Question exercises.

HLTFA201A - Provide Basic Emergency Life Support

INVOLVES WORKBOOK STUDY & ATTENDANCE AT A ONE DAY PRACTICAL SESSION.

Date: Monday 15th March 2010

Time: 9am – 1pm

Cost: $110 per person

Venue: Oakgrove Community Centre, Narre Warren South

This course will provide participants with the skills and knowledge to recognise and respond to life threatening emergencies using basic life support measures only. This unit stands alone and incorporates the content of unit HLTCPR201A Perform CPR.

Completion of workbook learning must be completed prior to your attendance at the practical session.  Course participants should enrol a minimum of two weeks prior to the practical session in order to complete this process.

HLTCPR201A - Perform CPR

Date: Monday 15th March 2010

Time: 9am – 11am

Cost: $60 per person

This course will provide participants with the skills and knowledge to provide CPR until the arrival of medical assistance.
